Science Vs. Magic: The World We Think We Know, We Don't

Science is a way of looking at the world. It involves making hypotheses and testing those hypotheses and then observing their outcomes and relationships. Scientists want to see if experiments or observations can be replicated and if so, how often. If outcomes happen often enough, well beyond statistical chance, then we say there is likely cause and effect or a relationship between events.

The scientific method is just a method used to understand some aspect of our world. It tells us about probabilities and possible causes and relationships but it doesn't give us a complete picture. It is based on empiricism, or knowledge derived from sense data. The knowledge science provides is limited and will always be, but we are made to believe our new God (Scientism) will eventually reveal everything and tell us everything. 

But there is another way of looking at the world. We can view the world as magic. We can see the things that we think exist as not "things" but as relationships manifesting to us for a time from an interconnected web of life. Science only gives us a small understanding of an aspect of this web but magic gives us a profound appreciation for all of it. Viewing the world as magic, doesn't deny that many relationships manifest events as strong probabilities and nearly always yield the same results. But there are also relationships between unseen forces (not sensed or measured) that manifest events well beyond our expectations or understanding based on past experiences (observations, measurements).

The world we think we know, we don't. It is influenced by forces and interactions of not only physical but mental/emotional/spiritual phenomenon. Our consciousness is alternating between various states and this influences not only our perceptions but also our experiences. This vast web of interconnected being can never fully understood by any system of thought. But it can be appreciated as an astounding play of relationships producing all manner of  miracles, whether expected or unexpected.

Today quantum physics has shown us that what we think of as solid physical matter is virtually empty. That measurements or observations of matter respond in some way to the observer (the observer effect). That information can travel instantaneously between entangled quantum states (nonlocality), and that we can only know events as probabilities and not as certainties.

If scientists centuries ago were told a little of quantum physics, they would dismiss it as magic. They would be right.

The deeper science penetrates into the world, magic emerges as a better explanation. In the quantum world, science can observe but offer no rational explanation for what is occurring. That is because science is just one limited way we use to know about our world. Magic is a broader way of appreciation and understanding the way hidden variables (forces) interact on an interconnected web of life in ways that cannot be fully known, but certainly appreciated. Magic includes mysticism (another way of viewing and understanding the world) and in that way it is more profound and reveals a broader truth than science can ever hope to bring us.

The Secret to Relationships

Never expect more from others than they are willing to give.

People often find themselves in relationships in which their expectations of others exceed what others are willing to give to those relationships. This creates a lot of unnecessary frustration and even suffering.

Although it is sound advice not to expect more from others than they are willing to give and it could save people a lot of trouble. The problem is that people are nearly always ruled by their wants and desires and not by a clear assessment of what is happening in their relationships.So they put a lot of wrongly directed energy into controlling and manipulation of others only to find that it resulted in a lot of unhappiness.

So accept what people are willing to give to a relationship or move on from that relationship. To try to force your will in any relationship will just end in a lot of resentment and ultimately a break in that relationship.

What Close Ally of the United States Plans Executions for Internet or Public Display of Homosexuality?

A major ally and a good friend of the United States has plans to execute those that openly show their homosexuality or perversion in public or online.

The US says it supports Democracy around the world but that is just what America says. In fact, the US supports a New World Order agenda around the world and Democracy is just an excuse to overthrow governments, incite civil wars, invade countries, and wage economic warfare on those countries that don't follow the Globalist play book.

So here we have Saudi Arabia, one of the most oppressive regimes in the world, openly contemplating executing those in the LGBT community who have the courage to display their orientation. We all know that Saudi Arabia is capable of the most terrible crimes against humanity.

Just even expressing an opinion that counters the regime in Saudi Arabia can get you whipped to the point of death.

Oh and Saudi Arabia is also an important state sponsor of terrorism. You might recall that nearly all of the terrorists accused by the FBI of flying those jets into the World Trade Towers in New York on 9/11 were Saudi citizens.

Many concerned Americans are calling for a release of a classified 28 pages of the American 9/11 Report which is said to implicate the Saudi government in support of the 9/11 terrorists.

So American support of a murderous, oppressive, fanatically religious nation, like Saudi Arabia, is a disgrace to this country and those people that honor human dignity and human rights. Our government pretends to care so much about the LGBT community but yet it will ally with a terrorist supporting nation that executes  members of that Saudi community merely for displaying support for that community.

How much cancer is acceptable?

There is a misconception promoted by the media that cancer is somehow caused by bad genes. But in reality, cancer is mostly caused by carcinogens in our environment. There are those that are more susceptible to certain cancers based on their genetic makeup. But it is the carcinogens (toxins) in the environment that are the leading cancer killers. For Example no matter what your genetic makeup, if you were to spend anytime in the Fukishima Nuclear Power Plant after the initial meltdown you would be dead fairly quickly.

Although eating a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables can help people avoid some cancers and even help them cope (perhaps survive) cancer after they get it. A diet of cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, etc.,), fruits and juices loaded with phytonutrients, moderate amount whole grain starches, and a meat/fish and dairy abstinence can indeed do a lot to help a person dealing with cancer. But it is important to recognize that people are mainly getting cancer because of environmental toxins and pollutants and not because they are not eating their fruits and vegetables.

Some people think they can eat organic and be protected. But we are exposed to cancer causing chemicals everywhere (in our home, workplace, in the water, in the air, etc.,). Not only that, eating organic is no guarantee that you won't be exposed to cancer causing chemicals in your food. Recently it was reported that California wines, even organic, had trace amounts of the toxic weed killer glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto's weed killer Roundup.

So you might assume that trace amounts aren't so bad and you can drink up. But even .1 parts per trillion of glyphosate can stimulate the growth of breast cancer. In fact, in California's wine growing region they have 10 to 20 percent higher levels of breast cancer than the national average.

So you can drink a glass of California wine to your health, but a glass of wine containing glyphosate (no matter how small the amount) increases your cancer risk. But sadly this is true for all our fruits and vegetables, even organic.

So what is the solution?

Accept the risk to you and your family or demand that our governments protect its citizens from known carcinogens?

A healthy environment and eco-system is not just a nice idea, it should be our right as children of mother earth.

California Fast Food Worker Plans to "Slack a Bit" and Take Life Easy with the Rise in Minimum Wage

LOS ANGELES, Calif-- A deal was reached yesterday in the California Legislature to gradually raise the minimum wage in that state from $10.00 an hour to $15.00 an hour over the next 6 years.

This move will obviously bankrupt fast food giants like McDonalds, Burger King, and other restaurant franchises in California. But one California fast food worker said that he is looking forward to his life on "easy street."

Charles Walters has 2 fast food jobs working an average of about 30 hours a week. He figures that with the extra $5 an hour that he will get 6 years from now it will mean he will be able to slack off and not work so many hours.

Walters will make an extra $150.00 a week but with taxes taken out and with the rise in inflation it will mean that he will likely be bringing home about $30.00 extra a week in today's dollars. Walters says that $120.00 a month in real buying power won't change him.

"I will be the same person I have always been," Walters smiled.

"Sure I will take more time off and probably slack a bit, but I am not going to let the extra cash change who I am" Walters said.

Walters said he is probably going to cut back on the hours he is working and spend some more time vacationing. He hopes to vacation in Europe and maybe even spend some time in Jamaica. He is also visiting Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes showrooms now so that he can get the feel for the type of car he is going to buy in 6 years.

Walters has 3 children but he won't be spoiling them with "a lot of nice things."

"Just because of the raise in the minimum wage, my kids are not going to think they are gonna be given everything," Walters declared.

Walters sits back on the plastic lawn chair in his dimly lit tiny living room and lights up a cigar.

"You know," Walter grins, "This is a great country. You work hard and you dream big and then finally one day it all comes true."

Near Death Experiences are Often Very Different But the Message is Usually the Same

A small number of people that have nearly died claim to have Near Death Experiences (NDEs). Out of those people, those that say their experiences were positive are the vast majority. Still some of those that have Near Death Experiences say that their experience was dreadful and frightening.

There are certain themes to those that have NDEs in the West as compared to those that experience them in other cultures. The typical NDE that is recounted in the United States involves a white light, perhaps a tunnel, sometimes a life review, usually a meeting of relatives, and maybe a meeting with an enlightened being(s) (angelic beings and even God). In other cultures, the NDEs are generally interpreted according to their cultural and spiritual beliefs.

So do we discount NDEs, because different people are reporting different experiences even within the same culture?

Clearly some Near Death Experiences are fabricated or embellished. We can guess this based on inconsistencies in their stories, lack of emotion expressed, and also an agenda of promoting a particular religion or proving a particular religious book.

Over the decades this has become more common. It used to be that many fundamentalist Christians denounced NDEs as the work of Satan. They did this based on the fact that the older accounts almost always reported no meeting with Jesus. Over the years, Christians have begun to embrace NDEs since many true believers are now recounting "biblical" Near Death Experiences and some sort of encounter with Jesus. These accounts to me are highly suspect, since they are of a relatively recent origin (happening over the last decade or so) and they are pushing a particular religious agenda.

But there are so many Near Death Experiences that people have claimed to have had that are backed up by medical personnel. Although most of these "good cases" should not have experienced anything, they recount what was said during a medical procedure or they relate something to others that shouldn't be known by the person who experienced the NDE. So I think the answer is clearly that we cannot explain away a lot of these good NDEs simply because there appear to be some fraudulent accounts and often the NDEs appear to be different.

Yet there does appear to be an overriding theme to nearly all of the good NDEs that seem to be based on some hard evidence and solid accounts. The theme is that this life is a learning experience and that what we are here to learn is how to have love for ourselves and others. This is a rather simple message being delivered by those that seem to have experienced real NDEs. This message also seems to be rather universal.

Although Near Death Experiences often appear to be a bit different for each individual and are often different for each particular culture or even historical period. The message that is delivered is usually very much the same. It is that we are here to learn to love and to practice compassion in our daily life until it is our time to transcend this earthly existence.

A simple message of love is being delivered by those that experience what appear to be real Near Death Experiences but it is certainly a revolutionary way of being if practiced as prescribed.

Bernies' Birdie, Pansychism, and the Truth of Life

As a young man, I used to hunt. I remember the woods would be full of activity and life until I took a gun with me. Spending a lot of times in the woods, I remember noticing the difference. How the animals of the woods knew that danger was lurking and they would stay hidden. One time I was up on a mountain looking down at a heard of deer. They were all waiting for something and not moving. Then I noticed a few minutes later that a caravan of hunters in vehicles drove by on the road next to them. The deer stayed hidden until the hunters passed. Then they slowly crossed the road. Once when I was out for a walk, a bird was wrapped in plastic wire. It was going completely crazy trying to get loose. But when I walked up to the bird and pulled out a knife, it laid completely still until I cut away the wire (which took at least 20 minutes). The bird knew that I was going to help it. It didn't move until I cut away the last piece of plastic and only then it flew away.

Modern humans for the most part are not attuned to the nature of things. The bird on stage with Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders was not only a likely good omen for things to come this Saturday (it looks like Bernie will sweep Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska), but I think that the bird felt comfortable being around a generally decent human being. To those that don't know how animals can sense things and react around people, then this observation seems a bit fart fetched.

But really there is something deeper than animals sensing danger or even caring from a compassionate human being, like Bernie Sanders. The world we see as made of separate things like humans, birds, trees, cells, rocks, minerals etc. is an interconnected web of mind. This is known as Pansychism, a belief (I would say an experience) that everything we think of as material has an element of being or mind. Not only is everything interconnected in ways we don't understand but every thing, even atoms and quantum bits of matter, also have some sort of being or mind (no matter how limited).

Indeed the earth and everything in it pulsates with being. This is not just a belief but it is an experience that we can all have once we attune ourselves to the spirit that is all life. The tribal peoples of North America (Native Americans, First Peoples, Indians) not only believed in the spirit that existed in the rocks, trees, animals, rivers, etc., they experienced it. They looked to their medicine/spirit knowers (medicine men) to communicate with these beings to help individuals members of the tribe and even the tribe itself. This is not some superstition but an understanding of the truth about life.

Bernie's birdie is a good example of how humans and all living things can interact with each other when there is no threat or fear. If we live a life of what the Hindus call Ahimsa (non injury, compassion) then we will be a blessing not just to the people we come in contact with but all the life that surrounds us. That life is in constant communication and relationship with us, even if we are not consciously aware of it.

What Does it Take for a Man to Set Himself on Fire? A Look at the Horrific Death of Charles R. Ingram

 
What does it take for a man to set himself on fire?

Clearly it is much easier for somebody to take a bullet to the head or swallow a bottle of pills.

But 51-year-old veteran Charles R. Ingram recently decided to set himself on fire outside a Department of Veterans Affairs clinic in New Jersey. Clearly he was willing to go through an agonizing, horrific death to make a statement about his treatment (or lack of treatment) by the US Veterans Administration. The VA is supposed serve Veterans and help them receive medical treatment.

Almost 2 years ago it was revealed that a Veterans Health Administration in Phoenix was keeping a secret list that allowed people to die by creating lengthy appointment times for treatment of Veterans.

...Despite investigations pointing to widespread mismanagement, the resignation of VA Secretary Eric Shinseki, the installation of his successor, Robert McDonald, and the passage of a $16-billion law that promised to expand care and make it easier to fire errant employees, little has changed for veterans still forced to wait for months for care...(source: USA News.com)

Here in the US, we give lip service to our Veterans. When they were sent off to fight in the Afghanistan and the Iraq War, most people were cheering them on and tying yellow ribbons on trees. But after years and years of wars that required endless occupation, Americans became used to war. When Veterans were brought home in caskets or as paraplegics, the media turned a blind eye to the horror. Now Americans muster a "thanks for your service" and somehow believe that helps the Veteran cope with the post traumatic stress disorder, the physical ailments, the economic hardships, the alcohol and drug addictions, and the other hardships serving in wars brought them.

So here we are today. Trillions of dollars spent on unnecessary wars that continue, deaths and injuries of Iraqis, Afghanis, Libyans, and Syrians add up to millions of people, well over one hundred thousand mental and physical injuries and deaths of our own soldiers, and civil wars that rage throughout the region, a plethora of terrorist armies in the Middle East not only attacking each other and the governments there but also hitting at the heart of Europe, and mass waves of desperate refugees being forced to leave their homelands.

All of this horror we see arose from the actions of war criminals (like Bush, Cheney, Blair, Rumsfeld, and others). Those war criminals live in wealth and ease and claim to have no regrets for their dishonor and lies. Sure there were millions of people throughout the US and Europe that tried to stop the attacks and invasions, but their protests made no difference. The Military Industrial Complex wanted the oil and the control of the Middle East. Their wants became our nightmare.

So Charles R. Ingram gave his life in a horrific fashion to call attention to the way Veterans are treated. But he gave his life long ago when he went off to service, not knowing how little care his own government had for him and those like him.

Rest in Peace Mr. Ingram. Your death has not gone unnoticed.

Choose Compassionate Eating: Farm Animals No More Deserving to be Eaten than your Pets

In some countries dogs are bred to eat. Here in America, we have this distinction between the sanctity of a dog's life as compared to other animals, like those we like to eat (cows, pigs, chickens, etc.,). But are dogs any more precious than the other animals that we choose to eat?

The answer is no.

It is just that we believe some animals are worth caring about but others are not.

Cows are beautiful animals and can and should be treated humanely. But then all animals should be treated that way, especially the human animal. Compassion is not something that should be given to some and withheld from others. Compassion heals, eases suffering, and makes life better for all the life of the planet.

We can choose to turn a blind eye to the massive suffering and extermination of farm animals because we enjoy eating them. But next time you sit down to a hamburger, think whether that animal was any more deserving of its horrific fate than your pet dog.

Compassion is not only a way of life, but also a way of eating.

Wealthy Political Donor Wants All His Money Back

BOSTON, Mass--The news for super wealthy donors that buy elections hasn't been good.

So far, donors have funneled more than $520 million collectively into campaigns and outside groups supporting Republican presidential candidates who have now dropped out — and the primaries are far from over. Source Time.com

One political donor, Jack Swanson President and CEO of Spew Chemical, is outraged.


"I put all my money on Jeb and he turned out to be a dud. The guy couldn't get arrested. Then I put more millions into Marco and that loser turned into a comedian on the campaign trail." Swanson said in an exclusive interview yesterday.

"So now", Swanson continued,"They are telling me to throw more money at Hillary and Cruz. But I spent several millions already and all I get is a thank you."

Swanson said he had been investing a lot of money into the 2016 presidential bid since he wants to make sure his business interests are protected. He expressed a great deal of annoyance that he has blown millions on losers and that means his operations may not be protected by the next President.

"Look there may be a chance that we get a President that might actually demand meaningful regulations and  environmental protections. This would cut into our profits. We might not be able to get away with producing and dumping dangerous carcinogens into the environment. I have been paying a fortune to make sure that doesn't happen"

"But I am getting tired of losing money. I want my money back!" Swanson declared.

So now he is asking that those political action committees and campaigns that he has contributed to give him his money back.

"Look this was supposed to be a sure thing. I am not a gambler. Now with this Trump clown there are no sure things." Swanson lamented.

Humanity's Insanity--Dark Instincts and Forces

Humans are largely a violent and aggressive animal. This is largely an evolutionary adaptation where social animals needed to band together to survive brutish environments and other aggressive animals (like other humans). Still you would think with enough nukes to destroy much of the life on the planet as well as to kill every human, people would decide that it might be a good idea to slow down the military industrial killing machine. Instead, humans continue to invest obscene amounts of money into killing each other and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Around the world there are a billion hungry people. Nearly 3 billion people live on less than $2.50 a day and there are 22,000 children dying each day due to extreme poverty. So with most of the people of the world claiming to believe in God and belonging to some religion  that promotes peace and love, then you would think that the top priority would be helping the needy and making sure all people have enough to eat. You might think that but if you did you would be wrong because our top priority is killing people and controlling resources for the power and profit of an elite few.

So with one American B-2 Stealth bomber costing $2.4 billion, you can see where the priority is. In fact, the world's military expenditure in 2012 is estimated to be close to $1.8 trillion with those humane Americans spending about half of that amount in supporting their military industrial complex. The banking financial elite that control most of the world are making sure that their interests are protected and their power and wealth continue to grow through military might. But these are just a handful of people.

So what can we say about the rest of the world's 7 billion people?

Why would the people of the world allow this obscene expenditure on weapons that benefit nobody but the very few elite and a power structure that owns them?

People, sadly, are ignorant to the point of being insane. They allow themselves, their families, their communities, and their countries to be raped of resources and human dignity because their owners (the financial ruling elite) scare them and confuse them into supporting a massive weapons industry while many of them are hungry and impoverished. The ruling elite not only use humanity's innate violence and aggressiveness but they also use their fear and ignorance to justify an insane system of death and destruction. The weapons industry will continue to grow while the people of the world will continue to grow in their hunger and poverty.

The weapons industry is not only cheating people of the world out of any type of a decent life, it is killing them as if their lives were completely worthless. The US alone has killed an estimated 20 to 30 million people since World War II in conflicts around the world. The horror of millions upon millions of deaths brought to you by the merchants of death, the weapons industry, will continue and their is likely no end to it.

But the success of this killing machine could likely be its downfall. It may be that people will become so used to the massive worldwide human slaughter that nuclear war will seem as a necessary progression. The insanity of humanity is that we may blow each other up before we even have a chance to go extinct through a likely eco-collapse.

Haman beings could choose to feed the people of the planet and care for each other. But judging from what has been happening, that is not likely to occur any time soon. Unfortunately the odds are that humans will continue to fuel a weapons industry with their blood and what little money they have. This is an insane choice but humans are creatures often moved by dark instincts and forces.

Conservative Think Tank Declares Not Enough American Children are Going Hungry

 

Washington, DC--A conservative think tank, Prosperity for a Prosperous America, proclaimed yesterday
that not enough children in America are going hungry. In a press release, the think tank blamed the current lack of American global competitiveness on Americans not having to work for 3rd world wages.

Dr. Charles Chewie, President of Prosperity for a Proserous America, said in that press release that in the United States companies have to pay Americans at least a minimum wage and it is cutting at least a few cents into corporate profits.

"In the US, Corporations are already stretched thin. A few cents adds up and it can mean the difference between a CEO making 100 million or 99 million a year. This is an outrage!" Chewie said.

"Greedy American workers that want to have food for their families are a big problem. How can you have prosperity for America when American children are not as hungry as those in Bangladesh or some other really competitive nation"

"The fact that 1 in 4 children live in poverty in the US but in other competitive countries, like the Dominican Republic, a lot more children live in poverty means that the US is not as prosperous as we should be." Chewie said.

Prosperity for a Prosperous America  believes that if Americans could move past their own greed then they would accept a much higher hunger and poverty rate for children as well as adults.

"We have to educate Americans, and it starts with children, that they shouldn't expect something to eat every day. This is a crazy notion that started with greedy social reformers trying to make sure that Americans were not starving. That is a backwards notion and not in keeping with global competitiveness" Chewie was quoted as saying.

The conservative think tank declared that hunger is just a mindset and people don't need as much food as they think.

"Selfish people concerned about themselves and their families having enough to eat is killing American competitiveness and we all know that a competitive America is a prosperous America," Chewie said.

Why I Would Never Vote For Hillary Clinton

Sadly, it is almost certain Hillary Clinton will get the Democratic Nomination. It is likely that Trump will get the Republican Nomination. So you say, "choose the lesser of 2 evils". But that is a game in which whatever candidate you choose, you lose. So I gave up that game a long time ago.

If Hillary gets elected President she will do just as her husband did and attack the very base that helped elect her. She will, in the interest of bipartisanship, further promote privatization and corporate subsidies and protections at the expense of the American people. In short, Hillary is a Corporate NeoLib Democrat and that spells bad news for what is left of the Middle Class along with the working class, the working poor, the poor, women, blacks, Latinos, and just about anybody not a part of the ruling Elite.

Hillary will reform Social Security by extending the age requirements, privatizing much of it while reducing benefits. She will also continue with the privatization of schools, which means that children in America will get an ever worsening substandard education (as we see with Charter Schools).

The Financial Class will continue to prey on the rest of America and Hillary will be there to protect their interests. Cities will continue to crumble and America's infrastructure will collapse. Disasters like Flint, Michigan will be common. Students will continue to mortgage their future on student loans that will keep them working as credit serfs throughout their lives. Medical expenses along with insurance premiums will continue to sky rocket, meaning that an American with insurance coverage will continue to go bankrupt when they get sick. Trade deals that are only good for corporations and not for any country will continue. Endless wars will continue to be fought to keep the New World Order operating.

Hillary will offer some feel good programs, just like her husband did, that will benefit virtually nobody and they will call that progressive

But what if a Republican gets elected?

Probably it will be less worse because at least with a Republican President there will be some opposition from progressives and Democrats. But with Hillary, we will get the Democrats and Republicans working together to destroy our social safety nets and what is left of a functioning American society.

So vote the lesser of 2 evils and get evil. For me, I don't play that game.

What Happens After We Die Depends on What Happened While We Were Here

People act as if they will be here on earth forever. But in reality we are just a heart beat away from transitioning to other realms. Where we end up depends on what type of person we are in this life.

 In life, you can tell a lot about a person by looking at what he or she has around them, who they associate with, what they hold dear, and what their attitudes are towards themselves and others. In death all of these things pass away, but those things arose out of a certain consciousness that people have developed throughout many lives. This consciousness will determine where they end up when they pass from this life.

So if you want to know what life will be like when you die, just ask yourself what life is like for you now.

If you have developed a consciousness of compassion and understanding then your life is unfolding in a way that is a blessing to others and to yourself. That doesn't mean that your life is not difficult and full of challenges and suffering. But it does mean that you are living a meaningful and courageous life focused on doing the best you can for yourself and others under whatever circumstance. When such a caring and wise person passes from this life to another, they will have an experience based on their highly developed consciousness. Their next life will be in some particular realm of Love where advanced beings associate with each other and teach and encourage each other.

For those with a narrow perspective based a consciousness of selfishness, greed, and ignorance. They will pass into other realms suited for their particular development. These desire realms are seemingly endless and they are full of frustration and sometimes even intense suffering. Sometimes people are so attached to our earthly realm that they stay connected to this level of existence and it is difficult for them to transition further.

But sooner or later we all transition from one realm to another based on whatever level of consciousness we have attained over time. As long as we live as separate beings and have not recognized our true Being, or God Self, then the transitions are inevitable and the realms of individual existence are endless.

Many Paths to God

Many people say that there is only one path to God. They will try to tell you that this or that religion has all the truth and is the only way to God. But that is just what many people say and there is no truth in it.

People are different and they need different ways to express their spirituality. Some people are more cerebral and some are more emotional. Some people are more contemplative while others require action. The Ancient sages of India understood this and they devised different ways for people to come to have a relationship with God. They called the various paths "yoga", a way to unite with God using various methods suited to the individual.

Many people also say that their view of God is the only correct one. But that is just what many people say and there is no truth in it. The infinite cannot be fully described or explained. The infinite can, however, be experienced.                                                                 
                                                                                            
There are various paths to the experience of God. The path one chooses is not as important as the experience. We shouldn't worship a particular path. The path is only a way to the experience of our Divine Lord.

Our Imagination of Things is Just Our Imagination

We all assume we are experiencing the world as it is. But what we are experiencing is information that is created into "the world" by our minds. In truth, we are only experiencing our imagination created by our minds from bits of information that our minds decipher from an infinite number of relationships that exist.

Humans think that their imagination of things captures the truth of life. But our image of what we think is the world no more captures reality than any other creature's view of the world. Our bodies and brains have evolved to help us survive and to create offspring. That is how our brains are wired, and what we see as reality is essentially important for us to survive as humans.

So we mistake our imagination of things as things. But there are no things. There is just life, or being, that takes on endless interconnected individual characteristics evolving through time. Then particular individual beings evolve into other individual characteristics in an endless cycle involving a constant interplay of information we experience as relationships.

When we realize how limited our present capacity to experience the totality of being really is, then there can only be humility and a sense of wonder. Instead humanity imagines that we are at the pinnacle of understanding and development as a species. But that is just our imagination.

Just as a lizard sitting on the desert rock imagines it knows everything about its world, humans sit on a tiny rock in the cosmos called earth and imagine we know everything about our world. But our imagination of things is just our imagination.

Empower Yourself: Make the Best of It

Often times things are pretty bad. That is the nature of life. But it is during those times that there is one thing you can do and that is to try to make the best of it. Sometimes "the best of it" doesn't do that much to help the situation.

But there is a good psychological reason to use that strategy when faced with difficult times.

If you are able to think about the situation and make some changes, or even not make any changes if that is what is needed, this process gives you some measure of control. In short, the mental strategy of making the best of it empowers a person.

Often times in tough situations and when under tremendous stress, the feeling of powerlessness makes the situation feel a lot worse.  It is this feeling of powerlessness that can be overcome to some degree by examining the situation and then doing, or not doing, what you think will make the situation better.

Over time things change. Knowing this, we can choose to focus on the present and make the best of any situation we are going through.

Rubio Says More Moral Victories Coming, Changes Campaign Slogan to "Rubio! for the Fun of It"

MIAMI, Florida--A campaign spokesperson, who spoke on condition of anonymity since that person was not authorized by the Rubio Campaign to speak on the record to the press because that person is not a very good speaker and usually has trouble articulating the Rubio Campaign talking points even though that person is a campaign spokesperson, said yesterday that Rubio will never quit running for President.

After a humiliating defeat in yesterday's Super Dooper Tuesday Republican Primary, Senator Marco Rubio discussed the way forward in his quest toward winning the Presidency. Rubio, after failing to win one delegate in any of the several states that held primaries or caucuses or dinner parties or get togethers, told his campaign staff that this was not a loss but a moral victory.

Rubio was quoted as saying to his staff, "Look I am not going to let a guy with small hands and a really bad spray tan win the Presidency. I will never stop running."

In a gesture to prove his point, Rubio ran around the headquarters repeatedly for what many believe was well over an hour and said that a con man couldn't run like that.

According to the anonymous campaign spokesperson, Rubio was informed that the billionaires that buy elections no longer thought he was a good investment. Rubio, it was reported, laughed and said, "Who needs their money. I am going all the way, just like I did on my first date."

Rubio said that he had a lot of laughs making fun of Trump over the last several weeks and that laughter is indeed the best medicine.

"Look, I am going to make people laugh all the way to the Presidency." Rubio declared.

Rubio was evidently also encouraged by the fact that people were laughing about his inability to win any major states despite having spent hundreds of millions of dollars. He told his staff that laughter is the key to many more moral victories.

Rubio demanded that staffers begin working on material that will make for the best jokes ever seen in any political campaign. Rubio left the room and came back dressed in a clown outfit yelling that the new campaign theme will be "Rubio! for the Fun of It."

At Rubio Campaign Headquarters today staffers were seen dressed in funny outfits and make-up trying to make each other laugh. The biggest laugh line seemed to be when one-staffer joked, "What is smaller than Donald Trump's hands? Rubio's delegate count!"

Buying Hope Isn't Cheap

"Auntie you are wasting all our money supporting that TV preacher," Harlan said with disgust.

"We barely have enough to eat and every time Pastor Johnson asks for a prayer request you rush him out money. Look the lights are about to be shut off and the water bill is late. Please Auntie turn the TV off and don't listen to him." Harlan pleaded.

"Son you know Pastor Johnson is doing the Lord's work and he needs our support." Auntie said.

"What work is he doing Auntie?"

"He jus be takin our money and buying jets and big mansions and we don't even have enough left over to buy poison to kill the cock roaches," Harlan mockingly laughed.

But Auntie was not listening to him. Instead her eyes were glued to the old TV in which a large, rotund, sweating preacher was pleading for the faithful to listen to the Lord and send his ministry money now. Pastor Johnson had important work to do. He was spreading the good news around the world to save those that had not heard the Gospel.

Auntie smiled, "Now son, you take down this envelope and mail it right away."

Harlan looked at the envelope addressed to "The Good News Ministry" and he knew that his words were worthless.

Auntie said, "Son, you know the Lord blesses those that blesses him. The Lord is faithful."

"What Auntie? Are you Serious?"

"You got diabetes and a bad heart. I can't buy a job. We ain't got nothing. Nothing!"

"Do you hear me? We ain't got NOTHING," Harlan yelled.

Auntie began to get upset.

"Son get going. We ain't got nothing now. But the Lord is fixin to come through for us. Pastor Johnson says that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, great things are going to happen." Auntie smiled and poured herself some sweat tea.

Even though the temperature was blistering hot outside, they had no air conditioning. They could only afford to run a few fans in the window.

Harlan thought for a moment. He didn't want to make his Auntie upset so he settled down and resigned himself to doing what she told him.

"OK Auntie I gotta go. I'll drop off the envelope."

"I Love You," He said.

"You always been a good boy. I am so proud you are mine, baby." Auntie smiled.

Harlan grabbed the envelope and left the little run down country shack.

Auntie turned up the volume on the TV to hear more of God's word. But then the lights went out, the fans stopped, and the TV went dead.

"Oh dear," Auntie sighed,"They finally got around to turning off the electricity."

Why Do the Financial Elite and their Political Puppets Create Cotastrophes like the Flint Water Crisis?

Deceased comedic genius George Carliln once said, "They don't give a f*ck about you. They don't give a f*ck about you!" Carlin was referring to the financial Elite that control the US and much of the world.

The biggest mistake people make is believing the opposite of Carlin's astute observation. People credulously believe that somehow the globalist owners of the so called "free world"  care anymore about them then they do about any other resource they own and control. The financial Elite not only care nothing for Americans, Germans, Irish, Indians, or any other nationality, but they care as much for people as they would a tree, a rock, oil, water, or any other resource at their disposal. People, like the rest of the world's resources, are to be used and discarded for their profit and pleasure. That is the sad fact.

We see an example of this with the Flint, Michigan water crisis where the financial Elite made sure that their puppet Governor, Rick Snyder, paid the creditors at the expense of the health, education, and safety of the people of Flint, Detroit, and other bankrupt municipalities. Many are calling for the Governor's resignation for purposely allowing the poisoning of the children of Flint with lead loaded water. This was done because the  corrosive water source was cheaper than the much cleaner source of water coming from Lake Huron. Instead of resignation, Snyder should be imprisoned. Or at the very least, be made to drink the water he expected the people of Flint to drink. You can be sure that if the same rules applied for the financial Elite and their political puppets, the rules would be different..

But the cities of the US are crumbling and the water crisis we find in Flint is also found in many other cities. American politicians are not only keen to make sure that the wealthiest pay the least taxes, they also make sure that the corporate welfare queens continue to get free government handouts at the expense of every other citizen.

So whether they are utilizing slave wages, destroying the environment for profit, poisoning people, or wrecking whole economies because of scams and bad bets, the Elite are operating the same throughout the world.

Why?

Because as Carlin said, "They don't give a f*ck about you."

We are the Walking Dead: Zombism is Destroying the Life of the Planet

Zombies have become a cultural phenomenon because they connect to some deeper level to what we have become. People recoil at them yet are at the same time fascinated by them. But I believe that Zombies represent a deeper psychological manifestation that rises from our subconscious.

People have become, like Zombies, walking dead. We are single minded in our desire to consume. We are fixated on consumption in the same way Zombies are fixated on the consumption of human flesh. The world is full of life but we have lost any connection to it. Instead, we are fixated on consuming it until there is nothing left, ultimately leading to our own demise.

The more we devour, the more we want to devour. Our appetites are insatiable.

The only way to kill a Zombie is to destroy its brain. People are destroying themselves and their planet because their brain has been destroyed by pop culture and a never ending stream of nonsense fed to them by a media and societal structures designed to destroy any creativity or intuitive connection to their spiritual being.

Human beings, like the Zombie, are presently bent on the consumption and ultimately the destruction of all life.  But there is a way out of the Zombie culture that is consuming the life out of the world. If we start taking time to reconnect with our higher spiritual being then there is hope.

Donald Trump Proves that Americans Have Been Starving for Good Political Entertainment. Let's Have More of It.

The 2 Ring circus known as the Republican and Democratic primaries are often not very entertaining. Although elections in America cost the Elite billions of dollars, the entertainment value is generally pretty low. This year Americans are finally getting some good political theater in the form of Donald Trump.

But you would think a great country (or formerly great depending on which candidate you are supporting) such as ours could include another ring for the people in the form of a competitive alternative political party. A party accepted by the corporate mainstream media and their rulers that rule them and the rest of America, the financial Eite. Even Barnum and Bailey offers a 3 ring circus for the enjoyment of their customers, so you would think that the mega rich would at least allow the voters the same entertainment value.

Sure things aren't so bad since America has one more Party than the Communist Soviet Union used to have. Still in the supposed "world's greatest Democracy," it would be a little bit more Democratic to offer one more selection.

The recent rise of Donald Trump shows that America has been starved for good political entertainment. Americans are all about their entertainment. They are at a loss without a constant stream of meaningless media and pretend news, so it would be really generous for the financial elites that buy and steal elections to give Americans a bit more political entertainment in the form of another competitive political party

Clearly a competitive 3rd party would be owned by our Owners (this is a given). It would have to be a party that promotes some form of disaster capitalism. But at least it will pretend to offer greater choice, and Americans will never know that the 3rd pretend choice is just like the 2 other pretend choices we presently have.

What is clear though is that Donald Trump has proven that Americans love their politics entertaining. They enjoy hucksters, liars, thieves, sell outs, and any political candidate the financial Elite happen to present to them. But speaking for Americans everywhere. Let's have more entertainment in the form of another political party offering another pretend choice.

As the world drifts towards world war, people lack even the basic necessities, and environmental catastrophes pile up in front of us; Americans need more political entertainment to help keep their minds off  human and planetary misery. After all, Donald Trump won't be around forever.

Looks Like Wall Street's Candidate, Hillary Clinton, Will Win the White House

Just a couple of days before Super Tuesday, it looks like the election is going as it was planned even before few people even thought about voting. The Criminal Class on Wall Street has long supported Hillary Clinton because she absolutely belongs to them. The Clintons have been bought and paid for since their days in Arkansas.

You might remember back in the 90s, the Clintons were the so called "new Democrats" that were willing to sell out the Unions, introduce NAFTA and Welfare reform, as well as support the Military Industrial Complex at the expense of the rest of Americans.

As President, Hillary Clinton will continue the tradition established by her and her husband in those years. Clinton will work with a Republican House or Senate or both to continue to dismantle what little is left of the Welfare State, to introduce Social Security Reform (privatization and reduced public benefits), to continue greater government austerity, to protect Wall Street from any meaningful reform even if the economy crashes again (which is likely), to promote military expansion around the world threatening Russia and China with attacks on their economy and their territorial integrity (a dangerous strategy that has brought the world closer to nuclear war than at any time since the Cuban Missile Crisis).

So what about the 3 Amigos Trump, Rubio, and Cruz?

Trump will likely win the Republican nomination but he is unacceptable to most Americans simply because he is a buffoon. Trump was probably prompted to run by his friends the Clintons and their backers so that he would splinter the Republican Party making it easier for Hillary to win the general election in November. Even if Trump doesn't win the Republican nomination he will probably run as an independent splitting the Republican vote as well as the right leaning independent vote, thus leaving a clear path for Clinton to win. Rubio and Cruz have no chance at the White House.

So hopefully the Wall Street crowd doesn't get their way with continuing the disaster capitalism we have come to know as globalization. But their candidate looks like a pretty good bet at this point.

Major Government Report: Guns Not Killing People, Bullets Are

WASHINGTON DC--Looking at 4 decades worth of US data, the FBI"s Bureau of Statistical Analysis of Criminal Behavior released a report stating that the answer to the problem of US shooting deaths cannot be found in banning guns.

The report released yesterday called into question whether regulating or even banning firearms will make any difference because guns are not killing people, bullets are.

"We don't need to get rid of the Second Amendment to the Constitution guaranteeing US citizens the right to bear and keep arms. Instead banning guns is counter productive because after a careful analysis of all US gun violence, we found that guns were not killing people. Rather it was the bullets being shot from the guns that were killing people," FBI's Lead Statistical Analytical Researcher Dr Elmer Feelgood reported.

"Sure there were a few deaths over the past 4 decades when somebody killed somebody by hitting them with the butt of their rifle, but all shooting deaths involved bullets," Feelgood noted.

The report said that unless the focus is placed on bullets, the mass shooting mayhem will continue in the US.

Dr Feelgood confidently proclaimed, "Everybody can and should own whatever guns they want. If they want assault rifles or even machine guns, that is a right. But there is no Constitutional guarantee that they be allowed to have bullets for those weapons. If we ban bullets then we will see an end to gun violence."

The National Rifle Association applauded the Bureau's report for finally taking the blame away from guns and placing it where it belongs.

Jill Irons, a spokesperson for the NRA, said that it is good to see that what we have been saying all along has finally been shown to be true. "Obviously it wasn't the guns killing all those people in the US. We are so glad that the report placed the blame where it really belongs, on the ammunition," Irons said.

The Ammunition and Recreation Association has countered with a statement today saying that it is clear that the bullets couldn't be fired without guns and therefore it is the guns killing people.

But Dr. Feelgood countered that counter by saying we have a Constitutional right to guns but not to bullets.

Student Watching Too Many Republican Debates Charged With Bullying, Calls Teacher a "Liar" and Principal "Low Energy"

HUNTINGTON, Alabama--The family of  a student charged with bullying and harassment yesterday at Huntington Junior High  released a statement to the media charging that their son was treated unfairly.

The parents of Gillup Harrington said their son shouldn't have been suspended for calling his teacher "a liar", Hispanic students in the school "drug addicts" and "some of them are even rapists", and that Muslim students should be put in confinement "until we can figure out what is going on".

Gillup admits to making those statements every day and on multiple occasions, but he said that he was just following his hero Donald Trump.

"I met the Principal. He is really low energy. Nobody likes him. Everybody in school hates him. He is the reason this school is no longer great," Gillup said.

"The teacher is a liar and everybody knows that. She should be fired. A total disaster as a human being," Gillup continued.

Gillup's parents were not disturbed by their son's comments.

"When Trump has the Mexicans pay for that great big beautiful wall and they are sent home and when the Muslims are rounded up and put in camps, then Gillup will be vindicated," Harry Harrington, the father of Gillup said.


The mother of Gillup, Shirly Harrington, also supported her son.


"The school is a mess and my son Gillup is just pointing out the problems. Gillup is just like our future President Donald Trump and they are trying to say he is a bully. My son will be President someday too.

"This thing is going to be huge. I mean we can make this school great again but first we have to remove students and staff that are liars, drug addicts, rapists, terrorists, and I assume some of them are even nice people." Gillup said.

Huntington Junior High Principal Gary Jordan said that evidently Gillup has been watching too many Republican debates but we cannot condone those type of comments and disrespect in school.

"Those comments may be acceptable when you are running for President, but we try to teach our student's to be decent people and have good character."

Marco Rubio to Not Actually Do Anything As President Just Like He Did in the Senate

GILLMORE, Georgia--Speaking to a capacity crowd at the town's diner yesterday, Marco Rubio told his assembled supporters that he plans on working as little for the people of America as he did in the Senate.

The first term Senator from Florida said, "Alot has been made of the fact that I seldom voted for bills in the Senate. But as you can see that strategy worked for America. After all I have placed a strong second or third in nearly every primary."

"As President," Rubio continued," I will let the country run itself."

Rubio has been battling to explain his lack of attendance in the Senate. His campaign has come up with the idea that Rubio works best if he is not working.

Rubio said that it is time we get out of the way and let the people do the governing. Therefore as President, Rubio said he plans on letting the people run the country while he goes golfing.

"If the economy runs by an invisible hand then why can't the Presidency do the same. Capitalism works best when the markets are free to crash. The Presidency can do that also," Rubio declared.

One Rubio supporter, Shara Lynn Johnson, said she likes the idea of Rubio continuing not doing anything in the White House.

Johnson said, "I hope Rubio doesn't let the Presidency change him. He has done such a great job of not doing anything in the Senate and America didn't even notice he was missing. That is the type of leadership that I hopes he continues."

But an undecided voter, Lloyd Hudgkins, wasn't sure he liked Rubio's plan.

"I like Rubio but I am not sure he can do things if he is not intending to actually do anything as President. Sure that strategy might have worked in the Senate," Hudgkins said, "But it might not work as President.

Rubio's Campaign is confident that the voters will like the idea of Rubio being a President that won't be President.

Major Study Finds People Don't Like Each Other, May Explain Republican Appeal

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut--In a landmark longitudinal study conducted over 2 decades involving nearly a hundred thousand people, researchers at New England Institute of Behavioral Sciences discovered that people don't actually like each other.

According to the study, people often pretended to be polite but when they they registered their true feelings the results were surprising.

Dr. John Frankincense said, "When we put the numbers together and registered people's true feelings we found that 89% of the people didn't like about 93% of the people they were interacting with about 100% of the time. We also found that most times people were not acting aggressive but they often felt like verbally and sometimes physically assaulting others."

Frankincense also reported, "Maybe our findings can be used to explain why people engage in wars, other terrible acts of violence toward each other, and maybe even the lack of governmental help for those in need. It might even explain why some people choose to be conservative and neoconservative Republicans"

But some researchers are not convinced that you can draw much of a conclusion from the finding that people don't like each other.

Dr. John Sugarman, a South Ridge Tech professor, points out that people may not like each other but they also don't like to work and they still do it.

"The fact that people have such dislike for each other cannot explain wars, the growing poverty rate, lack of help for the needy, the homeless, corporate welfare queens or even Republicans. People have been taught not to care about each other and the fact they don't like each other doesn't matter much."

Researchers agree that further studies will be needed to see if people actually care about each other even though they really don't like each other.

The landmark study will soon be published in Journal of Human Understanding later sometime.

Breaking: Hillary Clinton Promises Big Banks She'll Get Tough on American People if They Need It

WALL STREET, New York--In a closed door meeting with many of her banking supporters, Hillary Clinton promised that she can be tough on the American people, "if they need it."




After a breathtaking win by 1 or 2 percentage points in Nevada over Bernie Sanders, Clinton wowed her Wall Street backers by saying when it comes to keeping them safe from the American people "I am with you."

Clinton said, "If the American people crash the economy like they did in 2008, I will get tough on them, if they need it."

The Wall Street CEOs, who asked not to be identified by a person who spoke on condition of anonymity since he or she wasn't authorized to speak in any capacity for the Clinton Campaign, seemed very happy with the Clinton tough talk on the American people.

"My husband and I took on the American people when we helped usher in NAFTA which resulted in the loss of millions of American jobs. We also reformed welfare which hurt millions of poor American children," Clinton told a cheering audience.

Clinton went on to assure her Wall Street backers that her tough talk about them was needed to bring her stunning electoral victories like the ones recently in Iowa and Nevada.

Clinton also said she believes that the momentum will continue since the American people can't seem to distinguish their interests from the interests of the .001% that control the government and the economy.

It was reported that millions upon millions of dollars were raised for the Clinton Campaign at this meeting.

Democrats are clearly resonating with the Sander agenda of protecting Americans and the economy against big banks, enacting medicare for all as a solution to the disastrous Obama care which was mainly a gift to the insurance companies, free college tuition, fighting income inequality that continues to grow no matter which corporate sponsored candidate is made President, fairness and justice for all Americans, building America's infrastructure, protecting American in the work place and helping them to keep their jobs, real economic growth based on real jobs that pay a living wage, a sensible immigration policy, a more reasoned foreign policy other than our current program of destabilize, invade, bomb and repeat ad nauseum.

Clinton is charging that Sanders is a single issue candidate which clearly he is not. But we can say definitely that Hillary is for whatever she thinks will help get her elected in whatever state she is campaigning in. Clinton has changed her position on TPP, another supposed "free trade" program that will decimate American jobs even worse than NAFTA. She has decided that she would be tough on the big banks if she needs to be and she says she knows how to do it. Obviously the big banks didn't pay her hundreds of thousands in speaking fees because they like the sound of her voice.

So what issue is Hillary truly supporting regardless of its ability to get her elected. Clinton's main issue is that she is power hungry. She already is worth at least 45 million dollars
so money is not an issue. This is a pretty good sum for merely working in the public sector jobs that paid a couple hundred thousand or so a year. Amazing how these politicians are so good at managing their money.

But Hillary is into power and needs it as much as most people need to eat. She will do just about anything, say just about anything, and attack just about anybody in order to get what she needs most--power.

 
 
No matter who wins the Democratic primaries and even the Presidency. Clinton will always be left with an insatiable desire for power and that is her single issue. This insatiable desire for power is rooted in a seriously maladjusted personality and cannot be satiated by hundreds or even billions of dollars. It cannot even be satiated by the power she craves since there will always be the need for more power. Like an addict always needing more of a drug, Clinton is simply a power addict. A good 12 step program might help Hillary overcome this addiction. But like most addicts, it is a good bet that Hillary doesn't see it as a problem.

The Alleviation of #Suffering

Human beings are born to suffer to some extent. Some of us suffer more than others. But assuredly we all suffer.

 

So is there any cure to suffering?

As long as human beings or any other individual beings live in this realm of existence then there will be suffering for those beings. But suffering isn't all bad. It is the great teacher. It helps beings learn about what is helpful for survival and what is not.

Suffering can also do something else. It can lead us to Compassion.

When we truly realize that other beings are suffering just like us it can lead us to a great deal of sadness, frustration, and even bitterness and anger . Seeing that suffering is a necessary part of life and that all beings must suffer, including us, we could choose bitterness and anger over the inevitability of suffering or we could choose Compassion.

Being bitter and angry only increases our suffering although it is sometimes necessary to feel these emotions. Yet we can eventually move past these feelings and embrace Compassion. A loving heart for other beings and a desire to be of service is a recognition of the truth about life here on earth. It is also a way to help alleviate suffering. By thoughts, words, and deeds of Compassion we can move past our own suffering by creating a helpful, heart based focus.

What we are always emerges out into the world. We can choose to be beings of Compassion and the love in us will emerge to help ourselves as well as others. The choice of Compassion is the alleviation of suffering.

Is Removing #Assad Worth World War Three?

Presently Saudi Arabia is threatening an invasion by their forces if President Assad of Syria is not removed. Amazingly Saudi Arabia, one of the most brutal and repressive regimes on the planet, is demanding that another country must overthrow their government or they will invade. Beside the fact that it is questionable whether any country should determine the type of government in another country, it is almost laughable that despotic Saudi Arabia should be making such a demand.

 

Turkey is now firing on Kurdish and even Syrian government forces in Northern Syria in an effort to protect and to keep supply lines open to opposition forces. A few months ago Turkey, without any warning to the pilot, shot down a Russian plane over Syria that it said had entered Turkish air space for nearly 20 seconds. It appears that Turkey took that action because Turkish President Erdogan was upset that the oil being brought into Turkey by ISIS would be halted by Russian sorties and thus lucrative black market sales in oil would be disrupted as well as the continued funding for that terrorist organization. 

Russia by any measure has made impressive gains by helping Syrian government forces turn the tide of the civil war in the government's favor. Also, the Russian/Syrian collaboration has led to a crippling of ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria. So you might think that the advances against ISIS in Syria would be welcomed by the US and western governments. Unfortunately the US and its allies are not so much concerned about ISIS as they are concerned about their major goal of destroying Assad and the government in Syria.

The destruction of Assad's government would create a power vacuum leaving the country in the hands of terrorist groups like ISIS. We have seen what happened in Libya when the US and NATO allies helped overthrow the Gadaffi regime there. What emerged was something more terrible than what had previously existed. Libya is in a civil war with forces like ISIS, Al Qaeda, and other terrorist groups battling each other and with various war factions. The country, is in short, a complete disaster. We also have seen the civil war that emerged in Iraq after the US invaded that country. Iraq is at present broken into pieces with Iraqi government forces battling ISIS. Until recently, the Iraqi government had lost a great deal of the country to terrorist forces. So you might hope that the US and its allies would realize that intervention, destabilization, and even invasion to overthrow governments in the Middle East have left something far more terrible in its aftermath. However that is only a hope and not a reality.

But what is evolving is the most dangerous time for the world since the Cuban Missile Crisis where the US and the Soviet Union came very close to using nukes against each other. The Saudis are threatening invasion and Turkey is bombing Northern Syria to try to halt the collapse of opposition forces there. Unfortunately these ill-conceived actions will only bring about a pro-longing of a deadly civil war in Syria and it is likely to involve a clash with Russia. Not only is Russia bombing terrorists daily but it has advisers on the ground in Syrian. If the Syrian civil war evolves into an invasion by allies of the US into Syria, there will likely be Russian losses and casualties. Russian President Putin will most likely retaliate militarily. The US and NATO will have to act if Turkish forces are attacked since Turkey is a NATO member.

So at present we have a perfect nightmare scenario unfolding in which the world could very easily be pushed into a war that will involve hundreds of millions of deaths and the destruction of economies world wide. It may even result in a massive human die off if the nuclear bombs unleashed create nuclear winter and eco-destruction.

So is removing Assad in Syria worth it? I'll let you decide.

#God and Free Will

People pride themselves about their supposed "free" will. But in reality, nearly everybody is programmed to act from societal conditioning and environmental circumstances and experiences (past and present).

 

Some imagine that all this will end at death. That they will no longer exists or that magically the mind will free itself from nearly endless lives of conditioning that play out in karmic patterns of existence. But that is just fantasy.

Yet people can act outside of the nature of their intense conditioning. It requires a realization that they can use reason and creativity to experience a life outside of the eons of their experiential karmic programming. It also requires that they connect with our Divine Source that can help them to break through the enslavement of endless individual lives that have programmed them to think, act, and feel in certain ways.

A life rooted in our Higher Source (God) utilizing reason and creative expression is a life evolving toward ever greater freedom of being. A life that is free-er to love.
